While the prototype (for a VOR70–syndicate) is equipped with an 190hp Volvo inboard with duo–prop, the rib is becoming available also with a outboard engine solution. Two 115hp Yamaha 4–Strokes will deliver minimum the same acceleration and topspeed, as the Volvo does: 40knots in rough sea including 4 passengers and fully filled up. The 3 separate working 200l–fuel tanks allow you at least 15 hours nonstop full–power use of the engines – this gives you a range of unbelievable 600nm⁄1100km without refilling!
4 persons find easy place on the jockey seats covered from spray and wind by a huge wind shield and a massive console. Even an A4–plotter fits on the console together with all the other instruments while a carbon mast in the back of the boat accomodates the windfinder, radar and VHF–antenna. Additional 4 seats (2 x 2 jockeys) might be fixed instead of a huge storage box in the back of the boat. Further storage place is located in front of the console where also a life rack might be placed for emergency cases and offshore adventures.
The design of the rib is same revolutionary as the one of the VSR 5.8 C. The narrow water line combined with a width back of the boat make it incredible stable and easy to manouvre. While you get airborne in higher waves offshore, the touchdown is soft and smooth as you would go in flat water inshore. The high bow makes it further on an ideal boat to exchange crewmembers, guests or mediapersons from a yacht to the tender.
This and many more features make this boat a perfect solution for every big–boat team. No matter if you want to have a stable platform for your media guys to shoot excellent pictures out of a dry and comfortable rib, you want to transfer your crew between the races from the yacht, you want to bring guests and VIP as close as possible to the exciting scenes on the water... our VSR 9m PRO is the perfect solution!
