The northern part of Norway is vast! With a base which encompasses Ofoten, Lofoten and Vesterålen, we offer spectacular surroundings and awe-inspiring experiences of nature.
The lighthouse at Tranøy is surrounded by magnificent nature, and lies in the midst of the hometown of Norwegian author Hamsun, in the northern part of the municipality of Hamarøy. It also offers a spectacular panoramic view of the mountain, Lofotveggen.
On our way towards Hellemobotnen, moving inland along Tysfjord, we pass Skarberget, which seems to dive directly into the sea. We also pass Norway's national mountain Stetind, which we will take a closer look at on our return trip.
